Not just about Ryouta, but about the others in that Generation he knew the blonde to be a part of. Rin still believed in Sousuke, standing there promising him that he would wait for him to return to the world of swimming. No matter how long it took. As someone who for so long swam for himself and had his dreams for the sport, thinking about joining a sport simply because you idolized or crushed on a current athlete was kind of disrespectful and pathetic. “You can’t become good just to impress someone.”
He glanced up at the food and offered their server a quiet ‘thanks’ as he accepted his own dish. Excellent. This was what he’d been waiting for all morning, to be honest. “Of course; welcome to Iwatobi, Ryouta.”
